AFTER SEVERAL YEARS OF GRADUAL PROGRESS, THE ECONOMIC STARS ARE
ALIGNING IN FAVOR OF A MORE ROBUST COMMERCIAL ENVIRONMENT.
By Phillip Perry
“WE EXPECT 2016 WILL BE A GOOD YEAR, WITH INCREASED
consumer spending driving economic growth,” said Sophia Koropeckyj,
managing director of industry economics at the research firm Moody’s
Analytics. Why the sunny outlook? Economists point to a number of
conditions favoring businesses: Higher employment, lower consumer
debt, greater credit availability, and trimmed gasoline prices all lead to
a more robust American economy. All should do their part to help encourage stronger growth over the coming 12 months.
