How has training helped advance
your career? I have been attending
the NAED National Meeting and NAED
Eastern Region Meeting for the past
several years. I have also attended
NAED’s AdVenture, LEAD, and Women
in Industry conferences. I learn by listening and observing. Therefore, having
the opportunity to interact with my
peers and mentors from within the
same industry is priceless.
How does your company encourage
you to complete industry training?
We have an engaged HR manager who
promotes the NAED Learning Center,
EPEC, Edge, and the CEP certification
programs. Our management team is
encouraged to enroll participants in
appropriate training modules based on
the employee’s individual training needs
and interests. Employee training hours
are reviewed annually during the performance evaluations.
What is your next career goal? To
be the president of the company—
before I turn 45!
