66 the ELECTRICAL DIS TRIBUTOR • Jul. 17
PHOTOGRAPHY BY COREY WOODRUFF
FOR THE SIXTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR, we sent out a call across the industry to find some of the industry’s “rising stars”— electrical professionals 34 years old or younger who have the initiative, drive, integrity, and creativity to move the industry forward in the decades to come. The call drew nominations from mentors, managers, and other industry leaders working in electrical distribution, manufacturing, and related technology and service organizations. After poring over a record number of nominations, tED editors narrowed the selection to just 30—and reaffirmed the knowledge that while the electrical channel should continue to focus on ways to recruit the best and brightest, this industry is rich with young profes- sionals taking on leadership roles. Here, we present the 2017 tED magazine 30 Under 35 honorees—and be sure to visit tEDmag.com in the coming months as we post a new, full interview with one of these impressive young people each week.
